Correction: Updated Sewer Study – May 2, 2022

NOTE: This is a new post to inform residents about a schedule change.

A preliminary review of the 2022 Sewer Study highlighted a few inaccuracies in the underlying assumptions and/or project calculations. To allow the engineering firm time to address these items, the presentation will be delayed by one month.

We apologize for any confusion, but we believe our commitment to provide accurate information requires this change. All details below have been updated to reflect the correct date/time.

Last fall the Allegan Township Board approved an updated sewer study / plan for Miner Lake. Fleis & Vandenbrink was contracted to update the proposed type of system, route, and provide initial cost estimates and opportunities for grants or other funding.

A representative from Fleis & Vandenbrink is scheduled to deliver a brief overview of the updated report at the regular Allegan Township Board Meeting on May 2, 2022 at 7:30pm

Allegan Township Hall
3037 118th Ave, Allegan, MI 49010
Monday May 2, 2022
7:30pm

Residents are encouraged to attend so they can hear the information in-person. There will be additional opportunity for information, but the Township Board is interested in gauging the level of support. As always, we ask residents to participate, but to do so in a brief, respectful, and courteous manner.

The presentation materials will be collected and posted to this site in the days to follow.
