At the October 2nd Allegan Township board meeting, the topic of a grant to study septic options for Miner Lake was considered. An article was printed in the Hometown Gazette and is available for your review at this link. (opens in new window)
This issue was also addressed in the Association’s Fall News Letter. The article is below:
The Allegan Township Board has been made aware of a grant from the State of Michigan that would cover 90% of the cost of a feasibility study for sewer at Miner Lake. The number of grants are limited and the deadline for application is closing. The Township Board reviewed this issue at their Oct. 2 meeting. They voted unanimously for the Township to cover the cost of the grant application process.
The Miner Lake Board members will be in conversation with the Township and will advise as pertinent information becomes available. We will post update articles at www.minerlake.org.
