If you were there I probably don’t need to tell you how great the show was! We were treated to 20+ minutes of nonstop professional-grade fireworks right in our back yards.
We appreciated the additional assistance this year from the Allegan County Marine Division and the Allegan Township Fire Department, being onsite to help with safety.
From all accounts there were no reported incidents or issues on the water. It seemed like boats had the proper navigation lights and navigated their way home safely…
One note for next year: Several boats had lighting that interfered with the viewing experience of others. This included decorative lights above and below the rail (separate from required navigation lighting). While these lights can be a cool addition most nights of the year, they were an unwelcome distraction on fireworks night and it would be appreciated it you would turn them off – thanks!
Finally, none of this would be possible without the very generous donation of time, talent, and money from Keith Norman and help from his friends on the lake, the Huizingas. Keith enjoys doing these shows, but we can show our appreciation by sending a Venmo donation as “Thanks.”

Fireworks were AMAZING! Donation sent to Keith! So fun watching from our boat, the synchronization with the music added so much! Hope he continues doing it!
