Last year’s reinstituted “Pontoon Parade” proved to be a success and we are continuing it for 2024, with a couple of small changes. We will still gather in the North Bay (East of Crystal Cove) but the start time has changed to 11 am.

The other addition is the planned awarding of a trophy for the boat the judges vote as being the “best” (most festive, creative, and fun).

Registration is not required this year and all are welcome in any boat able to keep up with the pace. You are encouraged to show your festive Independence Day spirit and have fun.

A lead boat will be assigned and the route will proceed counter-clockwise around the lake for those on land to cheer! The plan is to set a pace that allows people on shore to enjoy the boats, but still keeps the show moving…

We plan to take pictures and post them soon after the event.

Summary Details:
When: July 5, at 11 am
Where: North Bay near Crystal Cove

Special Request: No registration required, just show up and follow along and cheer!

Rain Day: July 6th, 2024 (same times)

As always, enjoy the Independence Day holiday safely and respectfully.
Please comment below if you have ideas for making this more fun or if you want to help out in any other way!
