Our second year back was a continued success, with an even stronger showing than last year!! The weather cooperated and 26 boats participated at the start – some may have joined later or dropped out along the way. Thanks to all who cheered from shore to make the 2024 parade a huge success!
This year we added prizes for the boats that exhibited the best creativity and spirit of the holiday. It was clear everyone was excited to participate and some of you were very excited about this opportunity to show your spirit!
I was not one of the judges, but here are pictures as they passed my house (number/order may not match the assigned boat number, but this is how they passed by…)
Look for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons as well as awards for “Fan Fav’s”

Stan – Not sure what to say, they appear on multiple devices when I check…
We had an issue with a reissued SSL Certificate about a 10-15 days ago, but that should have been resolved. If the was an issue you likely could not see any content (article or images).
You could try the link in a different browser, that could force loading of the new SSL certificate.
Enjoyed the pontoon boat parade! Thanks for reinstating it. The later start was nice. Not sure how much the money prize mattered but I’m sure it was appreciated. Here is a suggestion for next time, how about awarding equal amounts of money and have winners in several categories such as: Most Patriotic, Most Enthusiastic Crew, Most Creative, Funniest, etc.?
Also, we could not open the photos on our laptop but could do so on our phones. Not sure why.
