Each Fourth of July, Miner Lake residents and guests put on a boat parade. You’re invited to participate. This year’s parade will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 6. First, register your boat and then spend a bit of time on over the holiday getting your entry into winning shape.
A cash prize is awarded to the top three boats. They are judged by anonymous volunteers, who look at creativity, originality and patriotism.
Special thanks to Erin Dewey for volunteering to lead the parade effort and hand out fliers.
Register your boat in advance and show up at the boat launch in time for the 7 p.m. start time.
Most of all, have FUN!
