The treatment is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024.
The map below reflects the planned treatment areas. The treatment area this year is similar to that of 2023 and significantly smaller than the initial treatment in 2021 and varies from the 2022 treatment area.
It is targeting Eurasian Milfoil and Starry Stonewort with the addition of some treatment for Curly Leaf Pond Weed this year. We will monitor it going forward to determine if the Curly Leaf Pond Weed needs to be treated again or if it remains limited and will likely die back in the warm summer water.

Residents in or near the treated areas will receive notice on the day of treatment. Signs will be posted along the shoreline within 100 feet of treatment areas that indicate what products were used and specific water use restrictions that apply.
Use Restrictions
The use restrictions are not widespread, but the advised restrictions in areas treated include:
Swimming is 1 day restriction in areas that were treated (running through Friday, June 7, 2024)
Note: the open area of the lake is not restricted for use.
Watering of Turf (lawns) has recommended 3 day restriction in areas that were treated
Watering of Ornamentals (plants and vegetables) has recommended 5 day restriction in areas that were treated
The approved treatments PLM will be applying were selected for their proven track record, minimal usage restrictions, and overall cost. They include:
• 4.25 acre(s) of Curly-leaf Pondweed with Diquat dibromide @ 1 gal/acre
• 1.75 PDU of Curly-leaf Pondweed, Eurasian Milfoil with Diquat dibromide @ 1 gal/acre + 8 PDU ProcellaCOR
• 5.00 acre(s) of Eurasian Milfoil, Starry Stonewort with Flumioxazin @ 200.00 ppb
