You may purchase leaf bags from the Allegan TrueValue or Allegan Ace Hardware for $0.40 each or $3.75 for 10 bags. Once you’ve filled them, leave them at the roadside and call the Allegan Township office at (269)673-5051 and request free pick up!
Many residents have “burn barrels.” While it may be convenient for you to burn your leaves, there are a few things to keep in mind. Smoke and ash can impact your neighbors and those who walk on our roads. Be mindful of wind direction on the days you choose to burn. Please do not burn trash. Whether you bag or burn, have fun raking!
