We want to provide our best cost estimates for the proposed sewer project. There are two documents available:
- Preliminary costs, updated by the engineering firm Fleis & VandenBrink in the spring of 2026.
- The cost estimate is intended to reflect anticipated costs for a project within the next two years and accounts for possible inflation.
- To be cautious, this estimate includes a 20% contingency that we hope will not be required, but exists to address unexpected project costs.
- A breakdown of what those costs may mean for homeowners who choose to finance. This breakdown includes:
- Assumptions regarding loans
- Potential interest rates
- A 30-year amortization schedule based on those figures.
Please note that these estimates do not reflect any grants we might obtain to reduce costs. We plan to discuss these details at the Homeowners meeting on May 23rd, but you are welcome to contact us with any questions. Thank you.
